Arts Project Australia is a creative social enterprise based in Naarm/Melbourne that supports neurodiverse artists, promoting their work and advocating for inclusion within contemporary arts practice.
Ways of Seeing: Portraits of an artist features works by Arts Project Australia artists Eden Menta, Mark Smith, Alan Constable and Cathy Staughton, alongside collaborative portraits by the APA artists and established photographers Janelle Low, Ross Coulter, Andrew Curtis and Clare Rae. Presenting photographic collaborative portraiture together with works in which portraiture is embodied demonstrates that there are a multitude of ways to experience the world, to see ourselves and to see each other.
