APS6 Social Media and Content Coordinator

Working directly to the Manager, Marketing and Partnerships, the Social Media and Content Coordinator will work with the team to promote the Gallery’s exhibitions and programs and raise general brand awareness. They will be specifically responsible for the strategic direction of the National Portrait Gallery’s social media accounts, building audiences on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, as well as developing the fortnightly eDM, crafting content, designing and deploying digital marketing. The role will drive the social media strategy to increase reach nationally and around the world, and is responsible for implementing it successfully. The position works across the External Relations team to write marketing and program copy, manage and edit video content, assist with in-person events and support general marketing and communications operations.

APS 6 ICT Manager

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the occupant of this position acts with autonomy and self-reliance, responsible for the smooth operation of the Gallery’s information and communications technology operations. A capacity to manage ICT related projects, analyse business problems and provide sound solutions through innovative techniques within a public administration framework is an essential part of this role. Through confident communication and negotiation skills, the ICT Manager is responsible for the delivery of Gallery’s ICT related third party agreements. This role is critical for ensuring the effective and efficient use of ICT resources within the Gallery, driving digital technological advancements, and supporting overall business goals.

APS5 Marketing and Events Coordinator

Reporting to the Manager, Marketing and Partnerships, the role sits within the External Relations section, which drives the Gallery’s brand, marketing, media, corporate partnerships, advertising, social media, publications, philanthropy, design and merchandise. The occupant of this role is specifically responsible for coordination of marketing and event activities as well supporting the delivery of partnerships benefits.

APS5 Digital Engagement Coordinator

The occupant of this position sits within the Digital team, reporting to the Digital Engagement Lead. The team is a dynamic unit responsible for the delivery of the National Portrait Gallery’s digital content, including formal and informal learning programs to audiences across Australia and around the world. Working with the Digital Engagement Lead, this position is responsible for the effective delivery of online, onsite and outreach digital programming.
