Leaving Lost uses a combination of digital and Super 8 film to explore the story of Canberra artist Derek O’Connor and his relationship with the suburb Fyshwick where his studio is located. It serves as both a portrait of an individual and of a place through its investigation of the complex relationships people have with their environments.
