Richard and Mel, managers of The Curatoreum operate the stores at both the National Portrait Gallery and National Arboretum. They have created a treasure trove of the interesting and unusual, showcasing cutting edge designer jewellery, ceramics and textiles in addition to its extensive specialist art and design literary offering. The Curatoreum at the National Portrait Gallery is a great place to enjoy the art of browsing.

Open 8:30am–4:30pm on weekdays and 9:00am-4:30pm on weekends.
Our friends at The Fresh Collective offer a casual dining experience in a relaxed, light-filled space and on an outdoor terrace. Their food is fresh, homemade where possible, and features seasonal produce from local community-focused producers. They have a broad selection of pastries, cakes, snacks, freshly made salads and sandwiches complemented by a selection of coffee, soft drinks, wine and beer.
