2017-19 Acquisition Fund

The Gallery thanks you for your donations towards the acquisition of this commission of this stunning portrait of Rosie Batty by Nikki Toole.

We would be grateful for any support you may like to provide toward the acquisition of future works.

Rosie Batty was Australian of the Year in 2015, using her position to call for widespread recognition of, and action on, domestic violence. The issue is now prominent in Australian public discourse, with various government initiatives, advertising campaigns, sports associations and charities – including the Luke Batty Foundation – maintaining the momentum.
