The ICONS Syndicate

Established in 2022, the ICONS Syndicate is a group committed to cultivating and nurturing Australia’s cultural life. Through their support of the National Portrait Gallery’s exhibition program, the group helps the Gallery to reach as many Australians as possible. Each year, the ICONS Syndicate supports the major summer exhibition, allowing the Gallery to be more ambitious, innovative and creative in its delivery.

Becoming and ICON

Annual membership of the ICONS Syndicate is made via a tax-deductible donation of $5000 to the National Portrait Gallery. Members of the ICONS Syndicate are invited to experience the Gallery in unique and exciting ways. Your support will be acknowledged:

  • on the Gallery’s website
  • in the issue of the Gallery’s Portrait magazine dedicated to the exhibition
  • in the Gallery’s Annual Report.
