Terry Snow AM (1943-2024) has been executive chairman of Canberra Airport and the Capital Airport Group since the airport’s acquisition from the Commonwealth in 1998. Since then, $2 billion has been invested in the redevelopment of the facility and the construction of a new terminal, which opened in 2014. Since 1991 the Snow Foundation has assisted local social welfare organisations and disadvantaged individuals with grants totalling more than $21 million. Terry Snow’s recent projects include a botanical garden and equestrian centre at Bawley Point, NSW, and Denman Prospect, a greenfield residential suburb in Canberra, comprising some 4,000 homes.
