Chong Weng-Ho, born in Malaysia, is a Melbourne-based graphic designer. He has designed more than ninety covers for the Text Classics series for Text Publishing and the covers of Griffith REVIEW and Australian Book Review. He writes the blog Culture Mulcher for Crikey. His portrait drawings of authors are on permanent display at the Wheeler Centre for Books, Writing and Ideas in Melbourne; the National Library of Australia has his linocut portrait of Patrick White. In 2013 Chong was inducted into the Australian Book Design Hall of Fame. Recently, with Konrad Winkler, he curated the exhibition Double Vision at the Bright Space, St Kilda.
