Michele Aboud, commercial, fashion and portrait photographer, is a graduate of the Photographic College of London and UCLA. Her extensive editorial work has been published in Interview [USA]; Wired [USA]; Grazia [UK and Australia]; Elle [Singapore, Mexico and Australia]; Harpers Bazaar [Singapore and Australia]; Vogue and Vogue Living [Australia]; Oyster; Rolling Stone; Noise; Australian Style; Belle; KAREN and Manuscript. Her international commercial campaign portfolio includes clients such as Bloomingdales, Lancôme, Marks & Spencer, VISA, Lindt Chocolate, Ferrero Chocolate, Toyota, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Nokia, Johnson & Johnson and Singapore’s Club 21. Over the past 25 years Aboud’s portrait subjects have included Lina Wertmüller, Frank Stella, Imran Khan, Gough Whitlam, Kim Beazley,Wim Wenders, Rutger Hauer, Tom Jones, Harry Connick Jr, Baz Lurhmann, Cate Blanchett, Tracey Moffatt, Debbie Harry, Stephen Hopkins, Jerry Hall, Amber Valetta, Miranda Otto, Kym Wilson, Jacqueline McKenzie, Marcus Graham and Kate Ceberano. Her work has been featured in 13 local and international exhibitions, including Amnesty International’s Masters of Photography [2009] and the travelling Nelson Mandela Art for AIDS Orphans [2007-2008].Aboud is a semi-finalist in the 2012 Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize.
