Lisa Tomasetti (b. 1963) is a Sydney-based photographer and visual artist. She has worked as a stills photographer in the film and television industry, including for major productions Shine, Star Wars Episode II, The Sapphires, Charlotte's Web, Mystery Road, Rabbit-Proof Fence, Cleverman and Ladies in Black. Tomasetti has also been the official international tour photographer for The Australian Ballet since 2006, and a book of her photographs, The Australian Ballet on the International Stage, was published in 2020. In 2019 she toured internationally as the official photographer with the Bangarra Dance Theatre. Among her achievements as a visual artist, Tomasetti has been a finalist in the National Photographic Portrait Prize, and her work was included in the Portrait Gallery's 2017 exhibition Starstruck: Australian Movie Portraits. Her work is held in national public and private collections, and she has undertaken a number of significant international residencies. Tomasetti has regularly exhibited new bodies of work over her career, across Australia and internationally, including the exhibitions Happy After Ever (2019) and The APPlication of Mercy (2016).
