Christopher Morris studied photography at Griffith University in Brisbane in the mid 1990s, during which he photographed many of the leading names in contemporary music including U2, Oasis, Pearl Jam, The Sex Pistols and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Following graduation, he worked in London for three years, continuing to photograph groups and individuals from the music industry. Morris returned to Brisbane in 2000, relocating to Sydney the following year. Since this time he has become known for his celebrity portraiture and fashion photography. He contributes frequently to titles such as Yen, The Face, Rolling Stone, Who, HQ and Juice, has worked for all the major record labels, and has been commissioned to photograph many of Australia's leading contemporary musicians. Morris won the Jack Award for the best rock photographer in 2004.
