Closer to Heaven, 2013

I have been documenting the lives of working girls in the western suburbs of Adelaide. The women are street walkers to support their heroin addictions. I aim to provide an insight into a world one would normally not get the chance to see. I am sure that others also have a strong curiosity like my own and questions. Questions about sex, about heroin addiction and about life as a street walker. I am not trying to portray these women in a negative or positive way but just trying to illustrate what their life involves.
