A young girl poses for her portrait while on holidays with her family in Ramsar, Iran. It is illegal for women to show their full head or any flesh from the forearm or ankle up, therefore swimming and sun-bathing is prohibited for women and girls on same-sex beaches. For young girls and women in Iran the future is uncertain. Despite having more liberal laws then their neighbouring countries, females in Iran battle with sexism and lack of equality. However, women throughout the country are continuing to oppose the Government's strict rules regarding woman's rights in every possible way they can.
