on display at the National Portrait Gallery
I wanted to create a piece that reflected my personality and played to my strengths in terms of technique and media. The focal point of my drawing is my nose and mouth. These facial features are my most easily recognisable as they are distinct in shape and a common trait in my family. I feel that this picture represents my quiet manner and gives an air of mystery to my personality.
