I have always been called my mother’s daughter and it is from this maternal connection that I draw my sense of self. Our physical similarities are evident: bleached blonde hair, nose ring and thick eyeliner and our emotional similarities even more so. We are really only separated by a few years of age and common sense. I won’t be like my mother in twenty years, I already am.
