Year 11, Bundarra Central School NSW
digital print
I'd seen other photos showing slow shutter speeds. I liked their transparency and the ghostly effect. This portrait was made to reveal my character. It shows where I live by the corrugated iron wall, the rusted steel heater, and the granite rock I'm sitting on. I am in a thoughtful pose, because I had to keep very still. I slowed down the shutter speed to twenty seconds. I held the pose for a few seconds before running out of the shot.
