Year 12, Anglican Church Grammar School Qld

My work explores the relationship between portraiture, performance, movement, light and photography. I enjoy the open-ended dialogue that occurs when moving light is captured as a still image. I think of my light experiments as reflective portraits, both drawn and performed for the camera. Creating a unique 'light work' fascinates me, because photography is traditionally known for its duplicative possibilities. However, my practice explores the process of capturing and manipulating light as a unique object.
