Year 12, St Aidan's Anglican Girls' School Qld

The central theme of my work is my passion for fabric, pattern, colour, textures and shape. I am intrigued with the life of Mata Hari and how she exploited the exotic as a tool of temptation. I surrounded my profile with circles (my collection of bracelets), as I feel the circle is a 'virtuous' shape that keeps going and going. I created within each circle a small intricate work that has an element of the exotic inside it. I look forward to the future, but also look the other way, always mindful of what has gone before me.
