Year 10, Alfred Deakin High School ACT

It was late on Tuesday night, and I had my face pressed against an icy window. My camera was in one hand, a torch in the other. I've always loved how reflections on surfaces other than mirrors replicate things, just not quite right. They're blurred, warped, and shadowed to the point where you're just part of the background. I think this shows how people might see me as just another face they pass in their own busy lives. The two people in my photograph are me – one is a shadowy but real face, and the other just an indistinct reflection.
