This ceramic bust was influenced by The Rocky Horror Picture Show and my trip to Thailand, where I saw a side of the transvestite's nightlife in Phuket. I found this intriguing – by changing your identity, you can give yourself more personal freedom, but also the feeling that you're trapped in a strange body. When changing one's identity, it is not what you see, but how you feel that helps you see.
