Daniel Kim
Daniel Kim paints and draws from life. At first, being face to face with the sitter was confronting for Daniel. He persisted and has developed portraits that capture his subject’s character. This self portrait is part of a series that Daniel has been painting of his family. For Daniel, this portrait reveals his happiness with regard to being part of his family. For his family, this painting reveals Daniel’s steady determination.
