‘My housemate Tay Haggarty on the cusp of returning to Queensland after two years living in Melbourne. A role model not only as an artist, but through their total openness, gentle nature and humour with which they move through the world. I wanted to document Tay’s time in our home, among the veggie patch they’ve tended to through their time living here, capturing a home that has held them through a period of growth and change.’
Phoebe Kelly is an artist living and working in Naarm/Melbourne who is interested in the ways photography can suggest traces of invisible forces. Her practice focuses on the desire to hold or preserve the ineffable and the loss bound to this.
