Jem, 2006

For the past two years I have been documenting my family, friends and relatives. These candid portraits come from a work in progress that looks at Christmas and special occasions. The photographs focus on the private moments and quiet exchanges of family members as they take time out from the hurly burly normally associated with such celebrations. This portrait is of my son Jem, lost in his own world at the end of the day during the Christmas period.
